When did you first start collecting rubber ducks? How old were you? What made you start collecting them? Do you think you'll ever stop?

We started our collection in a round-about way: we had our first child and people started giving us rubber ducks for the kiddo. After a while, we started getting ourselves more rubber ducks, and then we started the RubaDuck web site for fun, as a way to extend our enjoyment of our collection.

I got my first duck at age 7. My friend had a pool party, and near the end, someone brought out a GIGANTIC tub of tons of ducks and poured them into the pool. Everybody was allowed to take one. Thankfully, it wasn't hard to choose as the ducks all looked the same.

I imagine swimming underneath all of them and seeing them bobbing above me. Or, taking them diving underwater and letting them shoot back up to the surface.
