For those of us with larger collections, housing can be a problem. Here is an email Roger received from a concerned rubber duck enthusiast with some difficult housing problems. Any suggestions to help her out? Thanks!
"Hi Roger! I have just started my collection and I am very happy. There just one problem, I don't have any space for my ducks and I am worried my neat-freck step dad will get rid of them! I'm worried for my ducks!!! Help! Also I share a room and I don't have any space. Please help me here! My ducks are in your care and I love them! Help me PLEASE!! Worried Mother"

(I moved this one to the collections topic)
Something we're doing is putting together a specific place to display our ducks. We're making a duck shelf that is just for displaying our little friends. That way, we're not just throwing them all in a closet or a box. They'll have a place in our house that they can show off and be displayed nicely instead of just being "clutter".

How do you keep them? Do you have some type of display? A big plastic bin? In the tub?

No nothing special. They all sit along the bathroom counter. If my mother didn't set fire to my duck cabinet then i'd have a bigger collection and they would all be kept safe in the display cabinet i had for them

I say Rubbermaid containers would work well. The real big ones. I have 2 that I keep my duckies in.

*laugh* That's where most of our ducks are too. We have a huge rubbermaid container. It's certainly not the prettiest way of displaying them. And, it's pretty snuggly for them, but I think they'd like more space.
We're working on finding some nice ways to display them. They're so fun and happy. They need to be out sharing the happiness.

How would you do it? I can imagine fancy wood and glass but that would take some skill and time.
